28 (The Lost Tapes)

I found this in the draft section. I was going to delete it until I started to read it. guess I never finished it. Its almost 2 years old but better late than never I guess. I haven't changed much since then. Here is that post unedited:


Here are some random thoughts and things I've picked up in the last 28 years of my life. Hopefully someone else will read this and learn something from it.

* God has a plan. Stop trying to force your plan on God. your plan sucks. Trust me. (I've spent the better part of the last 2 years learning this the hard way)

* 24 was a great show

* Heroes WAS a great show 3 years ago... not anymore

* Very few people will be in your life forever so cherish them every chance you get

* Most problems stem from bad communication and stubborness

* Death to the Skinny Jeans Movement

* Hip Hop is on life support

* The 80's was the best generation ever and I should pretty much get used to watching remakes of stuff from the 80's

* My best friend is crazy beyond words and at the same time the person that makes the most sense in the world to me. go figure

* Putting others ahead of yourself is hard work but it feels like the right thing to do.

* I have a blog, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and am apart of just about every social network but somehow I don't put that much information about me out and I'm always in search of privacy and am a pretty quiet guy who likes to mind his own business. makes no sense all

* I'm a walking contradiction but I recognize it. I can admit my mistakes and faults. I've grown to be more human over the years.

* Still not too old for cartoons, video games or comic books... Still waiting for that to kick in.

* Stay far away from LDRs. They're terrible

* Apple is a cult... I'm trying to resist but I'm slowly getting sucked in

* I love my blackberry but it sucks now... people probably hate me because of it.

* I Keep saying BBM isn't enough to keep me forever but its been working so far.

* DROID (in Droid voice frm commercial)

* I have VERY VERY VERY lofty travel goals. But none of that matters if I don't plan it well.

* I have SERIOUS pride issues. I can admit it but I have trouble correcting it.

How can you possibly hate this show?

2011 KSM Walk for Water Video

In march I took part in the planning committee for the Keiyo Soy 5k Walk for Water to help raise money to bring clean water to parts of Kenya affected by the droughts that are taking place over there. I wrote about it back then. Well the video for last year's walk just came in as we get ready to start planning for the next walk. The first 10 seconds of the video are totally black.... I don't know why.
